There were many character produced throughout the two planned workshops ~ and there were many people who asked what other characters had been drawn. So, a couple of weeks later I launched a competition in North West London that asked children throughout summer to create their characters & pin-up in an exhibition format. The best characters would then be turned into a professional embroidery program & applied to a personalised product of the winner & runners-up choice. The Story Wall was a huge success and had over 200 characters pinned up & exhibited to the community. The exhibition represented the many characters and personalities of the local community.
